Priority Initiative Implementation Progress Tracking

The County’s plan leaders will ensure progress of the priority initiatives and planned action items within the OC MPA. Reports will be developed to document progression and expected completion dates for each of the action items. In addition to progress toward the action items, each of the priority initiatives will develop key metrics to monitor success of the initiatives. These will be determined by the priority initiative action teams within the development process. An example of progress reporting is included below.

Tracking CategoriesDescription
ProgressTracking of progress will be captured in percentage toward 100% completion of each action item.
Anticipated Completion DateThe anticipated completion date will be identified, with the understanding that this may be fluid depending on the complexity of the action items.
Other NotesAny other notes regarding completion of action items will be included.
Example of Reporting of Progress Indicators for Priority Initiatives
Tracking CategoriesDescription
Population ConsiderationsAction items will include target populations as identified by the priority initiative action teams, if applicable.
Key Performance IndicatorKey performance indicators include any identified outcomes related to the actions to monitor and report the effectiveness of the initiatives. These may be short, medium and long term.
MetricsMetrics include any outputs related to monitor programmatic aspects of the actions.
Strategic PriorityIf applicable, priority initiatives that are linked to the SFP will be identified and tracked.
Other NotesAny other notes regarding the priority initiative will be included.
