County of Orange Office on Aging Draft Area Plan Update 2023-2024
The County of Orange Office on Aging will conduct a public hearing to present information and solicit comments on the Draft 2023-24 Area Plan Update. The hearing will be held immediately following the meeting of the Senior Citizens Advisory Council on:

The California Department of Aging requires all Area Agencies on Aging to submit annual updates to the four-year Area Plans, which address programs and services mandated by the Older Americans Act and Older Californians Act. The Office on Aging is the locally designated Area Agency on Aging for Orange County.
Members of the public are invited to attend the hearing and provide testimony on any issue of concern to older adults including, but not limited to, the following programs funded through federal and State grants administered by the Office on Aging: Adult Day Care, Case Management, Community Services, Health Promotion, Elder Abuse Prevention, Elderly Nutrition Program, Family Caregiver Support Program, Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program, Information and Assistance, In-Home Services, Legal Services, Nutrition Transportation, Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, and the Senior Community Service Employment Program.
