NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Orange County Office on Aging
2024-28 Area Plan
On Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11:30 A.M., the Orange County (OC) Office on Aging will conduct a public hearing to present information and solicit comments on the 2024-28 Area Plan. The hearing will be held immediately following the meeting of the Orange County Older Adults Advisory Commission at Easterseals, 1063 McGaw Ave., Ste. 100, Irvine, CA 92614.
Every four years the California Department of Aging (CDA) requires the Area Agencies on Aging (AAA) to develop Area Plans that address Older Americans Act and Older Californians Act programs and services administered by the local AAAs. The OC Office on Aging is the designated Area Agency on Aging for Orange County.
Members of the public are invited to attend the hearing and provide testimony on any issue of concern to older adults including, but not limited to, the following programs funded through federal and State grants administered by the OC Office on Aging: Elder Abuse Prevention, Elderly Nutrition Program, Family Caregiver Support Program, Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program, Health Promotion, Information and Assistance, Legal Services, Ombudsman Program, Senior Community Service Employment Program, and Senior Supportive Services.
